Different Schools of Humour

When you think about it, not very long, you realise that not everyone laughs at the same things. Why is this? Because there are different schools of Humour, as there are different schools of Thought. Why is this? Because of different societies, climate differences and my dog. Your dog can come too but only if i can kick him.
Anyways. If this last part made you laugh, your brain is tickled by the following schools (in order of intelligence;
Corny/Absurd/Silly- This is what the lower form of the human species tends to when verbally expressing nothing better to say. For a few *select* members of this Planet Earth it can be considered Funny. Puns, and meee
Plain Absurd- This is when it makes no sense whatsoever, unless you twist your mind to what reality could and would be like if you imagination ruled it Far Side

Insulting When one knows enough about another culture or belief to be able to inject some irony into whatever they've been condemmed for in the past or stereotypes about them.
Banality in life For the observant who live through the banality not in it, can look overhead and laugh at things which are thought normal but actually quite stupid ei; can be confused with insulting but more light hearted
IronyMay sometimes be confused with banality of life, but it not the banality itself, it is spurred off by the banality. It takes a lateral thinking, or anger for some people to make good use of this. Yasmin
Intellectual/Wit What men back in the 19th century referred to because anything that is considered considered funny today was TABOO back then. Jane Austen or something
