Fat

I've tried to come up with the answer to this question but I still can't find any generalized theory. Belgian women 18-30 are allowed to have that extra layer of fat. It gives them a certain glow that I don't see elsewhere. You can't say its western culture, and you can't say that its Northern folk either.
Its like they're the only population who can pull it off and still look pretty. French girls, Swiss girls, are all stick thin. Is it a fashion thing? A culinary thing? Healthy french fries?
Even Tv-presenters are allowed to carry some extra weight because it emanates an additional level of comfort.
You're not allowed this on America tv. America's women are also a little overweight, but it seems in a less healthy way. I think its the type of fat that they put in the foods. Trans fat? Not necessarily, I think its also a higher dose of saturated fat. I don't think the body understands what to do with either of the latter in high doses, and therefore dumps them in very unattractive places. Hanging bellies, droopy upper arms, jowls (haha ...hee).

Enough disgust.

All I'm trying to say is what other population can still look healthy with those extra pounds?
